  • Agreed to condense lesson 1- delete click and drag activity.
  • running with list of ideas about the way in which the resources enhance learning.
  • 2nd part of rationale - reflect on why these are the most appropriate - Cass listed in point form on Rationale page.
  • Lil- motivation of students (all the resources) particularly IWB, laptops and websites
  • Lil- active learning- students participate in their own learning.
  • Cass-students' are able to connect their learning with their own actions and everyday lives in order to understand the topic.
  • Lil-learning is authentic.
  • Lil- authoring tool referring to the resources word, powerpoint, and publisher.
  • Cass- word powerpoint and publisher- easy to edit and revise fro students
  • Microsoft office resources assist with recording information quickly and efficiently so that they enhance learning by being immediate and responsive.
  • Implications for teaching practice
  • Lil to check references and apply where needed- Woofolk & Margetts, Murdoch & Hornsby, Roblyer & Doering-references.
  • Cass - Implications for teaching- what do I need to know, be aware of and be familiar with in order to use the lesson sequence.
  • Lil - need to be aware of student needs, problem areas, learning abilities, type of learners, know how to use the actual resources
  • Clarification of role of student with learning disability
  • Decision made that student with learning disability would be in group 4- check the bin in the classroom and school, working with student A and aide is there for support and guidance. Record assessment of criteria information and produce posters.
  • Agreed self esteem and motivational perspective intellectual disability student would be encouraged seeing their work displayed around the school.
  • Cass to finalise lesson sequence
  • Lil to sort rationale into sentences with references where necessary
